Mission Statement

Our mission is to warm those in need through knitting, crocheting, looming and quilting. Our NEW hand made items provide hope to those living outdoors and those in temporary shelters. We provide for Men, Women, and Children in Central Ohio all year long. Specific details available by clicking item specific tabs, or the Who we Help Tab. Closing in on Final Donations for 2013

Thank you Theresa A for this thoughtful donation.  Theresa has included lots of personal care items, socks, cotton washcloths.  And while you don't see them in the picture (took a 2nd photo but it didn't turn out), there were also hats and scarves.

Thank you Theresa and please keep up the good work.

End of year totals not to far off, so please keep checking in.  While we are indeed into the new year, 2014...these and some remaining donations were received in 2013 and will therefore be added to 2013 totals.

Misc. Items: include personal care, headbands, hand-warmers, cowls/gators/neckwarners and all meal prep related items, Dolls, associated items, stuffed/crocheted/knitted toys... etc aren't tabulated

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

  1. THANK YOU THERESA. Very nice donation. I like all the personal items you have sent. People must be very happy to receive that kind of thing. It is hard to believe that people are going without what we consider necessities, and it is lovely to see them sent as a gift.
    The weather has suddenly turned warm in Minnesota but it will not last long I am sure. We are all happy to see 40 degrees. Keep up the good work for the Ohio Homeless. GOOD JOB.

  2. What a teriffic donation! Thank you Theresa! Your washcloths are lovely and so needed. I am sure your hats and scarves are just as lovely and I know they are very needed too! The personal care items will go a long way to help Ohio's homeless and workinng poor. Thanks for using your time and talent to help them out!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
