More Warmth to share!!!

Here's Stella modeling a patriotic hat and scarfs set made by Sandie. Yummy as always. This will keep someone warm and make them feel patriotic at the same time. Thanks so much Sandie for your ongoing support. Hat #137, Scarf #56

Here's our Stella again, she sooooooo loves to get in the middle of things. She's modeling a wonderful knit cap (such fabulous soft yarn), made by Katie, hat #138. You will make someones' day with this for sure! Around her neck and beside her are two very pretty scarfs crocheted and donated by Susan (through The Angels Scarf Ministry). Aren't these pretty. I really like the nice edge you put on the granny square scarf. Very nice! Scarf #57 and #58

Thank you all.

Thank you so much

I've got a scarf and pair of mittens started and am hoping to finish this wkend. Though since I'm working the bulk of Sat, it's a very short wkend for me. It's been a couple of wild work weeks. We're trying hard to make up for being short on quota's with the large number of people who canceled and or didn't show for the food taste test.

Molly's 3 Scarfs #53-54-55. And 2 pair of green mittens. Not sure why my picture doesn't show the color well. #23 #24.

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!!!!!!!!
Hugs all around ladies.
--------Lots of snow flying here today, if it is in your areas, stay warm and safe, please.

Housekeeping item: This blog will show up in your dashboard area if you're a follower; but no longer as a team thing. Had some tech issues and nixed that. You all still have the ability to post comments. The only thing thats different is that you'll need to post comments rather than blogs...though thats what 99.9% of you did anyway, so really not much of a difference.

All are still listed as team members.

Worked late again tonight, so by the time I got home (after 8 pm), had dinner, opened mail...a bit late to call my SIL, but can hardly wait to connect so we get these things passed along to Rae. The mittens are really going to add soooooo much to keeping them warm.

My thanks for all the continuous support in knitting and crocheting, for adding the blog button to help spread the word, for the prayers to keep these people as warm as possible and as safe as possible given their circumstance. You have no idea how much good you have and are continuing to do.

I trully am in awe of you all. Blessing to one and all.

MORE! Hats and Scarfs = More Warmth!!!

You people Rock! Totally and completely rock! More wonderful warm items received today via my favorite postal worker. He's asked about all the boxes and pouches I get and hubby told him about the project. So.......he takes extra special care of all the packages all you wonderful folks send my way for our folks under the bridge.

Another beautifully crocheted hat from Sandie. This is made with a new type of yarn. Or at least new to me. Soy Wool Solids from Patons. It has a really nice feel to it, almost silk like. No one would ever guess it's wool. As always Sandie, many many thanks, someone is going to be very happy to receive this hat. Hat #115

Smiles and Appreciation from under the Bridge.

Wanted to tell you all a bit about last Saturdays delivery to our folks under the bridge. It was cold, we were having freezing rain when Rae took the donations. There were lots of happy people with smiles on their faces as they put on hats, and scarfs to ward off the elements. Buckeye Fans among them, the men were excited about getting the Scarlet and Grey items!

Rae's been trying to obtain some tarps, and ropes from hardware stores (hoping for some donations where possible), so they could make a shelter of sorts from the rain, and wind etc. A few are lucky enough to have a tent. I'll be checking back with her to see if she was able to obtain any tents, or tarps and let you know.

Some of our earlier items were packed in donated/used packbacks along with some personal care items like toothbrushes, soap, towels and the like and given to them just prior to Christmas. You all helped in making them know people do care.

Hugs to all, and now...I hear yarn calling my name.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
