Warm Feet for the Homeless

Look at this awesome donation of super warm slippers in every color of the rainbow from Paulette J .  These are all made with nice tight stitches and double yarn or chunky yarn so are truly truly warm!  Several sizes to aid in warming a variety of feet.  I think my favorite might be the tan/gold center bottom and center left.

Paulette has been really busy.  How long does it take to crochet 2 dozen pairs of slippers?  Please keep up the good work Paulette, nothing is more miserable than cold wet feet and you've given people the ability to warm up, dry off, and feel loved and cared for.

Many thanks!

Crocheting Helps Homeless All Year Long

Thank you Emily for this thoughtful donation of crocheted goodies!  Emily has crocheted several styles of hats with a nice mix of sizes.  She also included cotton washcloths and a crocheted scarf.  All items will help those in need and be very much appreciated by those who receive them.

Folks our last delivery went to our friend Rae who prepares hot meals for those living out in the elements on Saturday morning, so even while we complain about being hot our homeless friends still need our help.  Thank you for all you do.

Thank you Emily, please keep up the good work.

Crocheting Helps Those in Need

Thank you Lisa Z for this thoughtful crocheted donation.  Lisa has included 2 scarves and 4 cotton washcloths, though you may need to click to enlarge the photo to see the 2nd scarf.  My carpet and her scarf are so close in color it's hard to see it; but trust me.........it's there, lol.

Lisa the red, green, and yellow mix for the cotton cloth at the top of the photo is awesome!  I've never seen that particularly mix, variety of cotton and I LOVE how much it looks like an argyle sock!  Do you remember what it was called?  It's also dark enough that it works for either a man or woman, which is always a nice bonus.

Many thanks for your hard work and thoughtfulness.  Please keep up the good work.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
