Knitted Loomed Hats Keep Homeless Heads Warm

Knitted hats loomed by Barbara H from New Hampshire will be surely appreciated by 9 more people who will now have warm heads as a result of thoughtful donation.  These hats are nice and think, and soft!  Nicely done Barbara, we're happy to have your helping hands.  I particularly like the 2nd hat in the top row...like that color combination, and I can see a young girl loving that purple one in the lowe left corner........something here to please everyone's personal choice of colors.

Crocheted Donations from Oregon Help Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Karla T from Oregon for this thoughtful crocheted donation.  LOVE the nice darker colors you used for scarves for the men folk!  Click the picture folks to see she's crocheted scarves and mobius/infinity scarves.  Some really nice texture also in the brown and orange scarf.

Scarf make such a difference in cold damp weather and are a wonderful item for anyone living out in the elements, as well as those living at shelters who often spend the bulk of their day outside waiting until it's time to get a night inside.

Knit, Crochet for the Homeless or do Housework?

Thought you all might appreciate the above.  Spotted this on Facebook a few days ago and wanted to share.  Naturally this works just as well to insert Crochet.

Though we're inching on up Spring, we've had snow twice in recent days, temps still below freezing in the evening and early morning, so I do hope everyone is still busy working with their yarn, knitting needles, and or crochet hooks........the need truly does continue, and will for some time yet.  Spring here in Central Ohio is still quite chilly, and wet usually, so plenty of time left to get your donations finished and donated to someone in need.
