Keeping Feet Warm for Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Yvonne, love the slippers, the socks and all the personal care items you've donated.  17 pairs of warmer feet are going to be happy feet because of your generous heart.  Please keep up the good work.

**Just noticed your sock donation doubles what we had thus far.  Anyone out there into numbers?  Is this a sign, an omen perhaps?  Anyone lucky...want to use 17 and buy a lottery ticket?  lol  When I noticed the number it made me smile and I thought, what's the statical likelihood of that happening?  Getting the exact number and all?  AND....with these 3 pairs of slippers....look what the slipper count currently is too.  WOW**

We're about half way through February, which as you know focuses on feet.  Both slippers and socks are the focus for February.  The focus for next month, for those who like to know ahead; will be afghans, and rain poncho's.  March can still be quite cold, but in preparation for April and rain thought we'd jump ahead a bit and make rain poncho's a focus.  The afghans are giving out with families transition from shelter living to permanent housing.  Afghans keep them warm, congratulate them on the accomplishment of moving out of the shelter living, and wish them luck for the future.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
