Thank you Scharlet for your thoughtful donation from the neighboring state of Pennsylvania. Lovely, the recipients of these hats, scarves, and slippers will be happy. Love how you made the brim so nice and thick on the yellow and gray hat! Makes for extra warm and a better fit with the stretch.
*Did you notice the search feature on this blog ? I've moved it up quite a bit on the blog in case you hadn't noticed it before. Would you like to read all the post that focus on Homeless Families Foundation, or some other topic? Type the words you'd like to search and you'll find all the post pertaining to that. Maybe...you'd like to see all the posts regarding squares, or hats, socks, or a particular person's donations?* It's a very helpful tool. Check it out.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

I had not noticed the search feature. You might consider putting it at the top in the right bar. I rarely go beyond the posts.
ReplyDeleteI do periodically move things around, to freshen up the blog, change what people see when they frequent the blog etc. But, generally the newer stuff is the top portions of the sidebars. The search thing has been there for a long time, I just moved it and thought I'd mention it. I tend to be one that looks all around when visiting blogs. I'll take a look and see if it makes sense to move some more stuff.
ReplyDeleteScharlet, your work is GREAT! The hats look so very toasty and I think the slippers look great too. We don't seem to get enough slippers (or mittens) so keep your needles flying!
ReplyDeleteNow how did I miss this post? Anyone claiming to be a buckeye would surely fall in love with that lovely gray and burgundy scarf! Great donation!
