Cotton Washcloths for Ohio's Homeless

cotton wash clothsThank you minnisoda (Liz) from The Ville for these fabulous cotton washcloths. Some are knitted corner to corner, others knitted side to side, and others are crocheted. Look at the variety of styles and colors...soooooooo awesome. Beautifully made! I'm particularly fond of the mint green in the upper right...love that textured pattern.

I'll be making packages with some of the wonderful cloths that have been donated with soap, shampoo, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste. These personal care packages are always so greatly appreciated and needed. I'll separate into male and female and the donations will go out to the ladies at Nancy Place (through Faith Mission), the men at Faith Mission, as well as our men under the various bridges that Rae and Toby feed on Sat. mornings.

Thank you all for your continued hard work and support. Every person, every item, and every single stitch DO MATTER.

  1. Hey, Liz! The cotton washcloth look great. Such a nice variety!

  2. What a super addition to those hygiene kits! Great job, Liz! Keep those needles flying!!

  3. I love all the different colors.

  4. Love your cloths! There's some very pretty yarn there that I've not seen - now how did that happen?

  5. Lol, I agree, I'm seeing some beautiful cotton from all the cloths folks have sent that I have not seen in the stores, and is not in my stash....perhaps I need to fix that problem. lol

  6. I have also added your badge to the Heart in Hand Project website. With heart, Kelly

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
