Crocheted Goodies Help the Homeless

Many thanks Beth G for this awesome donation of crocheted goodies!  Beth has crocheted nice large scarves, large enough to really wrap around for added warmth that really works well for the folks out in the elements.  She's also included socks and lots of personal care items...even shoe laces......which is great!!  I never thought about that, but  think it's a great idea based on what I've seen.  Good thinking on your part Beth.  She's also crocheted the ever popular cotton washcloths.

Many thanks Beth for this thoughtful donation, please keep up the good work.

  1. IT IS DEFINITELY A WINNER BETH! what a good idea with the shoelaces. Never even dawned on me to do that. should have living in a house with three men until a few years ago I know what that is like:+)Will add some to my donation of socks I am preparing. Can never have too many of those and they dont add anything to the shipping expenses:+) your scarves are beautiful and love all the washclothes so needed at this time of year when everyone is looking for a place to freshen up,
Beautiful weekend ahead here, hope you are all going to be enjoying one too. GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS. marj in minnesota

  6. Such a cool calling you have! Its like personalized clothing. We do all kinds of stuff to help the poor through various organizations. But this is the first I've seen of homemade stuff!

    1. The homemade really speaks to people I think, it's special and unique and I think gives hope as well as physical warmth, that someone cared enough to make something special for you. Very personalized. Thank you Stephen for the supportive visits.
