Look what our good friend, and long time supporter Gail B sent! Look at this yarn. So soft, such nice colors. Kinda a brown tweedy, some mixed with blue, and some solid blue. This is really nice yarn, bulky I believe by feel. Will make some nice scarves, or afghan........hum, wonder what it will call out to be. It's not stack very nice, just layed out, as it was a wee bit damp. We had such a thunderstorm, I had to immediately open this and lay it out to be sure it got dry. Thankfully it was very well boxed up and it didn't sit on the porch long before we got home. Normally my neighbor...greatest neighbor ever would have taken it in. Am soooooooooo disappointed he just moved. Even his young daughter said, but Daddy...what about Sandy's packages. If we move who will take care of them. How sweet is that!
Off to the right is cotton that can be used for washcloths.
There were several packages, and this was delivered a day or two before the storm so no need to lay out to dry. Look at the wonderful colors. Some of this is chunky and some if worsted weight. I've already put to use one of the blue skeins in the middle of the back to add to an afghan I'm currently working on. I'll post a picture in the next post, so please come and see Gail's yarn already in the works.

That is so nice that Gail B. sent you lots of yarn. Those are excellent colors for the homeless.
