Afghan, a Sunny Donation from the state of Florida

Look at this awesome crocheted afghan from our good friend Sandy R in sunny Florida.  She always includes some sunshine in her donations...see it!  Yes, the day this donation was opened, there was some sunlight streaking in through the windows.  But, don't be fooled, it was anything but warm that day.  It was 3 degrees that morning when hubby and I got up, and by the time I was willing to leave the house to run errands, it had warmed up .................all the way to 8 degrees!!

Sandra has been such a long time and very generous supporter of Bridge and Beyond.  Her work is always fabulous and this is no exception.  Many thanks Sandra, this ghan will be perfect for anyone who receives it.....the colors work for men and women alike.

As always, please keep up the good work.

**Folks, be sure and pop back in, this isn't her whole donation!

I'm going to try something a little different with keeping our stats.  I'm listing our end numbers from 2015 and will subtract our current number as means of keeping our goal in front of us.  I'll show the goal number in Red.  Let's strive not match last years numbers, but.........work towards even more.  Thank you for all you do.  As time goes on, we won't see the year end numbers, we'll see the previous goal and subtract the new donation from it.  Hopefully we'll find this helpful and not too cumbersome...if so, we'll return to our previous format.

    2. It was only 14 with a strong wind, so it felt like ZERO or lower. Monday is to be 15. I feel so sorry for the homeless in this cold weather. I see the blog total is over 1600!!!
