Donating Hats and Scarves Keep Ohio's Homeless Warm

Victoria P from Arizona....YOU get the aware for awesome tags.  I think if you all click to enlarge the picture, you'll see why I say that.  She's tagged the items with size (nudging you ALL to please please do that), and she indicates it's washable yarn.  Scarves don't need to be tagged with size and when donated it would be paired with the hat which is nicely sized...but truly a super job here.  Love the pattern/texture in the rose colored hat....very nice.

Folks tags really are nice.  When I receive donations without size, I have to guess what size you made, and after I guess and put it in the adult or teen or child bag for delivery....the volunteers at the other end have to guess again when they shelf items.  When you cast on, you know what size you're making, or intending to make so please end the guessing and tag your hats, mittens, and slippers.  Tags can be store bought...you can buy a whole bundle of those little white tags with string attached, the can be scraps of paper tied with yarn or pinned with safety pins.  The tags above are typed and hole punched and tied with yarn.
