In yesterdays post I mentioned a church group with Dorna and Casey, and them spreading the news to other church members. These little blankets were made by Stephanie and Lena D in the same church group. The two pinks will make a little girl feel loved, as well as warm and red will work nicely for a little boy. These are fleece blankets.
More pink for the wee ones and rainbow blanket could work for a infant girl or boy. These ladies are all from Canton Ohio. We welcome you all and are thrilled to have more helping hands. Keep up the good work.
**Reminding you all to please make sure your knitted and crocheted items are made from washable fibers. Things requiring special care, and or dry cleaning such as silks, wool, suede etc aren't appropriate for our folks living outdoors and or shelters without means to do more then the very basic laundry.**

be counted in the year they are received. Since each donation is a
day, they will be some over flow into January. Thus year end numbers
won't be finalized until then.*
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated, and all donations keep someone warm. We help, one stitch at a time. YOU truly DO make a difference. THANK YOU!
BEAUTIFUL WORK LADIES. THESE ARE LOVELY. MERRY CHRISTMAS
ReplyDeleteThanks for the instructions on how to post.
ReplyDeleteI have donated items to several charities through the years but this is the first charity to acknowledge contributions, some don't and I have had to contact them to see if they received my donation.
I get ideas from what others have donated and the comments on contributions. Feedback is good.
:-)
Thanks for the visits and comments, they are very much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteHey anonymous, glad you visited and left comment; next time...please leave your name. I post a new post every day, and always acknowledge donations, even when I can't ID the person a photo is taken etc. I believe it's important for people to know their items go where they think. I want everything to be above board and transparent. People don' donate for the thanks, but most truly do want to know how their items get distributed and to whom.
Welcome Lena & Stephanie! The blankets are very nice and will be loved by some children.
