Donations for Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Lynda for your variety pack.  Linda has donated yarn, slippers, and a hat.  Please click to see the hat....it's awesome, warm, soft, and very pretty.  Fair Isle Knitting....I'm soooooooooooo envious of her talent.  As I sit here and type this scheduled post, my feet are cold AND I live in a house, and am wearing socks.  Not everyone is so lucky, so I know these slippers are going to be very well received.

Thank you Lynda for your on going support of our cause, we truly appreciate you.  As of the writing of this scheduled post, I can tell you I've already put to good use some of your yarn.  Top left corner, the off white is being used to edge squares for an afghan...stay tuned for the final product.

And since my feet are cold, I've decided to highlight SLIPPERS for our focus item for next month, January 2013.  Please check details in slipper tab at the top of the blog for necessary details regarding colors, sizing, fibers, and necessary tagging.  There are also some patterns you might enjoy using.  I would like to ask that people avoid using the pattern I've seen floating around alot on the net that is a basic square with a draw string.  The draw string pattern isn't very useable.  Let me know if you have any questions.

**What state are you from?  Which list is your name on?  PLEASE check, I continue to try to update all 3 lists; but some of you are still listed without the state you're from, and I REALLY need to hear from you.  The 3 lists are:
  1. Those with blogs (listed with links in right sidebar)
  2. Those with links to facebook, or ravelry or other group type profiles(listed with links in right sidebar)
  3. Those without above (alphabetical list in tab across the top of the blog)
Check the list, if your state is not listed, leave a comment below, and or email me.**

  3. What a wonderful donation. I would never have thought of making slippers but when you pointed out their use then donating them does make sense.
