6 fun, funky, bright and cheery scarves...scarves of many hues to warm the homeless donated by Paula K from Missouri, "The Show Me State". All the scarves are crocheted, some width-wise, some length-wise. A couple of the scarves are double thickness. Thank you Paula for your thoughtful donation. People will be warmer which just goes to show....we can and do make a difference with our craft each and everyday.
Whether you're from Missouri or some other state, let's all show em. Let's keep our needles and hooks flying and produce hats, scarves, mittens, slippers, afghans/squares to donate to keep the homeless warm.

TIP, Wondering if your item is too light, too airy, or too lacy? Can you easily poke your finger through it, see your hand through it? If so, it's probably not as warm as it could be for the homeless

Very Pretty
ReplyDeleteThe gold and black will be a HOT item for Steelers fans - of which there are more than a few in the Columbus area. In my area of Ohio at least, team colors are VERY popular especially for the men and boys - but girls also like combos from high schools and colleges. I really am drawn to the pink vertical stripe scarf too. But - they are all GREAT - glad I don't have to pick just one!
