I think these are all made from Lion Brand Homespun? 2 nice brown ones, and a black one, beige, pink, coral, 2 pastel variegated ones, and my personal favorite...green. The Green is such a pretty shade, I gave it center stage in the photo op. lol

  1. Pat E., the knitted scarves are lovely. I really like the Lion Brand Homespun yarn. It seems to take a little longer when I crochet with it because I have some trouble with it splitting, but the finished product is always wonderful. A couple of years ago I used it to make a poncho--for myself; how often does that happen? I love wearing it.

  2. The scarves are so nice -- something to go close to the heart! I have trouble weaving with LIon HOmespun, but it works so nicely in all other ways. Beautiful work! Sandie in hot FL

  3. Lovely work Pat E!! If you don't mind me asking, how much yarn did you use for each of the adult scarves (approximately of course)?

  5. Very nice. I just finished a scarf using Homespun. It does sort of drive me crazy when I'm knitting with it but I like the finished project.

  8. I keep buying homespun-like yarns but I really never enjoy working with them. I can't see the stitches as well as with other yarns. Probably my eyes. I end up giving it to my daughter. She can work with it fine. Love the calendar. Nice to know what's coming up. Cotton cloths and squares any size?

  11. I especially like Homespun when someone else knits/crochets with it. But I like food other people cook better than my own too. And I NEVER met a folded towel I didn't like.
