Ohioan helping fellow Ohioans

crocheted granny squares
Our newest pair of helping hands comes from Marie Anne, a fellow Ohioan. Welcome and thank you for these lovely crocheted granny squares, (14). Fun, cheery colors and interesting square pattern. Looking forward to working these in with others to design more afghans to warm those at Faith Mission.

Marie Anne is a fellow blogger, so please hop over to her blog and say hello; it's listed in the blog log.

We are very close to our final count of squares collected for our special "Give a Square" project, so hope you'll check back. In addition, I also hope to have final number for The Rainbow Project, very soon.

If you've not had a chance to read about our latest project, Toasty Tootsies, please do. There's a tab across the top of the blog and a blog badge in the sidebar. Please feel free to spread the word, blog about it, tweet about it, facebook it, and by all means would love to have you add the badge to your blog.

Anyone able to share a pattern for Toasty Tootsie's?

  1. I just found this slipper pattern a couple weeks ago and I've already made three pairs of slippers with it. So fast and easy and makes a very nice slipper! It can easily be modified to be knit in the round, but the pattern is written to be knit flat and seamed. It's also written for one size, but changing the weight of the yarn and needle size makes a whole range of sizes.

  3. Looking good! I've got writing deadlines most every day so not sure if I'll be able to get slippers done or not, but going to give it a shot.

  5. I need to find out which pattern she used, cause they are really neat....though I'm not sure I would enjoy changing colors that much...love the look.
