Winning Yarn and Warming the Homeless

You might remember reading a while back that our long time supporter, Sandie won the blog contest we had to celebrate our 200th post. She won yarn naturally. And this wonderful, warm, and very pretty tan tweedy matching crocheted scarf and hat set is made from some of the yarn Sandie won. Someone is going to be not only warm but styling wearing this! And, I'm heading out today to buy more socks, many thanks for including money to help with that. It is very much appreciated.

We've had to move from just shutting the windows to turning on the heat now folks, so please kick your knitting needles and crochet hooks into high gear. We've had a couple of below 40 degree nights. That's pretty chilly when you're without a roof over your heads.
