Thank you Melinda G for these wonderful knitted cotton wash cloths. I LOVE the 2 colors together in the corner to corner design. Very nice. These are always so well received and have many uses. Men and women alike like them. They're used for wash cloths and dishcloths. Their used for folks getting a night in the shelter and getting a shower, and they're put in welcome home packs when folks transition from shelter living to a permanent housing situation.
As I laid these out to photograph them, it occurred to me doing the corner to corner pattern (generally referred to as Grandma's Favorite) would be a great way to use up small left over yarn balls. Then piecing them together to make an afghan would be both interesting and pretty. Not with the cotton, and not with the white; but........since I had that idea for myself, thought I'd toss it out there in case some of you have LOTS of tid bits of yarn.
Many thanks Melinda for your thoughtful donation, and please keep up the good work.
