Inching Towards our Afghan Donation Goal

We're inching our way towards our donation goal for afghans!  We need just 6 to make our goal of donating the same this year as we did last year.  Will we make it?  Only time will tell.  Please stay tuned.  This large granny style square afghan is a joint effort.  Ann M. had donated the pretty pink center which I put aside to add enough to make a lapghan/afghan.  This is slightly larger than an lapghan and perhaps a bit smaller than I make most afghans, but it covers me nicely---in that when I was working on it, it kept me warm, lol

This was a quick photo before I put it in the laundry so, it will be slightly larger after it's blocked.

**We need 164 scarves to meet last years donation number and we have 18 calendar days left....9.1 per day would do it.  Wonder how close we'll get??  Likewise we need 180 hats to hit last years donation total, so that would be 10 hats per day.  Who knows.

**We started the year with the number of items we had donated last year, 2016; and will subtract our donations from that.  Using the end number for 2016 as the goal for the each item.  So, as the year continues you will see numbers decrease.  Our goal is to meet and surpass the number of items donated last year.**
