Donating Knitted Loomed Hats Warms Homeless

Thank you Maria Z for this thoughtful and generous donation of knitted hats.  Maria is our newest pair of helping hands.  Thrilled to have you join us Maria.

Pick a color folks!  Truly a wonderful mix of colors, something for everyone here.  Some colors appropriate for women, others for men, and plenty that work for either.  Very nice.  Loomed knitted hats with the extra thick brim are always a hit.  The thick brim really helps with added warmth.

Maria has really been busy and with her donation of 24 hats, and is really helping us with our goal.  Her donation brings us down to 252 hats needed by the end of the year to match last year's donation.  Can we do it?  I hope so, hats are so essential.

Thank you Maria, and welcome to the group.  Hope to see you here often on Bridge and Beyond.

DONATIONS 2017
HATS:  276-24=252
SCARVES (Gators, Infinity Scarves)  211
MITTENS: 36
SLIPPERS: 52
RAIN PONCHOS: 205
COTTON WASHCLOTHS: 28
AFGHANS: 32
SOCKS: 120
Misc, Ponchos, shawls, headbands etc aren't counted but very much appreciated.

**We started the year with the number of items we had donated last year, 2016; and will subtract our donations from that.  Using the end number for 2016 as the goal for the each item.  So, as the year continues you will see numbers decrease.  Our goal is to meet and surpass the number of items donated last year.**

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.
