Colorful Cotton Washcloths for Homeless

What a bunch of wonderfully knitted cotton washcloths!  I love both designs used here for Melinda G's thoughtful donation of cotton washcloths.  She's knitted some in the corner to corner fashion, typically called Grandma's favorite (check the multi-blue top left), and others side to side.  I love the fun bright cheery colors.  Knitted Cotton Wash clothes serve several purposes in our donations.  They are appreciated and used by those living in the elements, as well as those living in shelters...and those transitioning from shelter living to a permanent housing situation.

They are used as wash clothes and dish clothes.  The knitted clothes are so much softer than traditional store washcloths and feel so good anytime you use them, but particularly so for those who's skin can be irritated from living outdoors, and or those in shelters who just simply don't get to bath as much as they might like.

These hand made cotton clothes also convey a special message, and that is that someone cared enough to take their time and make something for you.  We give comfort in so many ways.

Many thanks for your thoughtful donation, Melinda.  Please keep up the good work.

**We started the year with the number of items we had donated last year, 2016; and will subtract our donations from that.  Using the end number for 2016 as the goal for the each item.  So, as the year continues you will see numbers decrease.  Our goal is to meet and surpass the number of items donated last year.**

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.
