Thick warm crocheted slippers warm cold feet. Believe these slippers are crocheted with double yarn by the feel of them, though I've not been able to communicate with the person who donated, as there was no note in the box. From the return address I can see it's someone I tired to contact previously without success. About this time last year it seems from looking through the blog a Jane B from Minnesota donated slippers. I can tell I tried for several weeks to make contact leaving messages here, and on facebook. I've looked through emails hoping to find an email address, but have had no luck.
Jane if you're out there, PLEASE make contact. I really need the ability to communicate with folks who make donations.
Many thanks for this thoughtful donation. Slippers are always appreciated at the shelters, gives folks a chance to put on something warm perhaps while doing laundry. Warm, dry feet can be very important in making someone comfortable and keeping them healthy.

ReplyDeleteHey Sandy...you asked where we were located. I see you have a Laurie from OH on your list. I used to live in OH...but now live in Iowa. It could be that there is another Laurie from Ohio...it was a popular name about 52 years ago. LOL. In any case, I'm from Iowa.
