Knitted Hat with Ear Flaps Perfect for Cold Homeless

Look at this awesome hats knitted and donated by Susan H!  They are super warm because they have ear tabs......but more then that they are double thickness where the ear tabs are.  I LOVE these hats and that most of them are nice dark colors for those folks out in the elements.  Susan tells me the pattern she used is on Ravelry, #1898.
And it's a free pattern folks, check it out.

Many thanks for this wonderful donation, please keep up the good work Susan.

  1. LOVE THESE CUTE HATS! they look like they are as warm as they are cute! I dont knit but will pass the pattern on to my sister who does and is always looking for something to make for her grandaughters.I can see that the winter projects are getting underway. I will have to admit that it being 90 degrees here they are not clicking in with me yet,but will soon. we just finished a 9 day stretch of hot and dry weather, but that ended last night with a big rain storm, so things should be getting back to normal. Enough whining. :+)Thank you Susan, these are truly wonderful and will be so appreciated this winter when ears are cold and hats are needed.
GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS marj in minnesota

  4. These are great hats and double knitted for the ears. I bought a knitted hat which looks nice but does nothing because the wind goes right through. Smart and practical that Susan made
