I like wine and I like yarn so had to laugh when I saw this posted awhile back and thought I'd share it with you. Now it looks like you could store quite a bit of yarn instead of wine........provided you had the right size skeins/cakes. I'm curious what size that actually is. Thoughts? I suppose this could even be double duty.........you could have both wine and yarn together in one place? This looks to be in an actual yarn shop given the hanks hanging beside it, though I suppose this could be someone's craft room, living room, end of the bedroom or whatever.
I always get a kick out of seeing how people store or display their lovely yarns, hope you do as well.

That is interesting. You got it good now, wine and yarn~ See, you are special :). I like wine too!
ReplyDeleteCome on over Lisa, it's rare for me to be stitching without sipping. Unless, it's a difficult or new stitch I'm knitting that requires me to concentrate more.
DeleteThis is a great idea but I start to smile thinking of the yarn and wine together. If one had some wine while you were crocheting, I wonder how the blanket would look:)
ReplyDeleteCrocheting I'm ok, kinitting simple patterns I'm ok....trying something new or complicated...not so much, lol Birgit, those things I do without wine.
DeleteI think very clever!!
ReplyDeletebetty
People truly are very creative with their ideas.
DeleteLooks like a good idea to me,. Both the wine and the yarn. A little wine always goes well with my crocheting, need all the help I can get.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day everyone,. Cold and rainy here. Could use some sunshine, along with my wine :+)
GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS. marj in minnesota
Right you are a day without wine is like a day without sunshine!
DeleteI love the wine rack and think it looks pretty with the yarn in it. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI think this would be a cool thing to have and use for both. You could move it because it's not a permanent thing like shelves can be. I'm actually thinking about pricing one of these.
DeleteThis is too cool! I always love looking at how others store their yarn.
ReplyDeleteSo do I Sherry, it's fun.
DeleteThat is a clever way to display yarn. I have mine in clear plastic bins. Keeps the yarn clean, but not as easy to see what I have.
ReplyDeletePro's and con's to everything, but somehow this appeals to me. Guess it would be best if one went through their yarn quickly, which I really don't.
DeleteThis is such a creative way to store yarn. It would be fun to alternate with bottles of wine.

I agree Julie, and thanks for the visit!
