Hats and Mittens oh My!

Sorry this photo is so dark folks.  I've edited it to lighten it as much as I can, but it was a really dark ugly wet day when I opened these donations from our good friend Sandra R from the sunny state of Florida.  Sandra...you forgot to include some sunshine in the box, lol.  Look at these awesome hats for school kids!  What a wonderful box of goodies to help the cold kids in school.  Many of these kids are homeless, and others come from very needy families.  Kids without warm clothes to wait for the school bus and or be able to play with their friends outside at recess.
Hats all nicely tagged with size...YIPPEE!!  AND, you all know I am currently dancing in the street with glee at receiving these mittens!  Thank you Thank you Sandra for always coming through in this department.  If only you could sit beside each of us and teach us how to make this awesome items.  The need is great, we need your skills.

Please keep up the awesome work.

**Still need contact from Carol C regarding your donation, please contact me via a comment here on the blog and or the contact form in the right sidebar.**

  1. Great donation. Love the mittens. I am not much of a mitten knitter. I can't seem to stay focused enough to finish two of them! Yours are so awesome.

  4. Wonderful donation Sandra! Love the darker colors that you used. The boys will be very happy to get those. So nice that you are a mitten maker. Something I have never done, so I am glad that you like to make them.
