Spreading Love and Donations from Minnesota to Ohio

Thank you Barbara C from Minnesota for this awesome donation.  Barbara is our newest pair of helping hands.  Barbara sent two large boxes of crocheted goodies.  In order for you to see them all I spread what I could on my work table to take photographs, therefore
you'll see several photo's of all different colors and sizes for hats, scarves, and headwarmers/headbands.  I never do know what to call them, as everyone uses a different term.  Must have something to do with our geographic location?  Think I've also heard them called ear warmers too?
Barbara knows what's it like to be cold, after all she hails from the cold snowy state of Minnesota.  The hats will fit a variety of heads, children to adult.
Thrilled to have you join us Barbara and look forward to see you here often on Bridge and Beyond.  Please keep up the good work.

**Wonder what to make?  Check the tabs across the top of the blog, hats, scarves, mittens, slippers etc. each item we collect has it's own tab with necessary information about size, color, and fiber as well as patterns you might enjoy using.  There's a tab for knitted and crocheted cotton washcloths, and afghans.  If you have a question you don't find the answer to in those tabs, please leave a comment, or use the contact form in the right side bar, or email me at sandycrochet@gmail.com

  1. WELCOME BARBARA. Thank you for your fantastic donation. Being from Minnesota myself I know that you know how much warm items are needed in the winter. This has been a tough one for all of us.This is truly a spectacular gift, and many homeless will be helped with you kindness.
The weather in Minnesota today is going to be nearing 50 Sandy, I think you are getting the worst of it across the country. We missed the bullet this time.
    Thanks again Barbara, GOOD JOB.

  2. Thank you Barbara from Minnesota for your wonderful donation. As I write this from Virginia, the wind is gusting something fierce and the temp. is 24. And I know the homeless in Ohio must be much colder than I. So thank you for again for all the warm items for those in need and welcome to the group.

  3. Welcome Barbara! So glad you found our very special group! Thank you SO MUCH for this SUPER donation! I can tell you are one of those who never sleeps or eats! You have been one busy bee! The weather here in NJ is back to fridgid today. It is only 18 degrees and super windy. I feel sorry for all the robins I have been seeing. Tomorrow will turn around and be back up in the 40' s. That's March for you! The end can't be too far away! God bless you Barbara for your wonderful donation! Keep your hook flying!
