Donating is good for the Soul

Thank you Diana K for your on going support of our cause here on Bridge and Beyond.  Warming Ohio's Homeless is a job that just doesn't go away.  These has been an especially brutal winter and I fear even with the days on the calendar saying spring is close...it isn't by a long shot.  As I write this scheduled post we still have snow on the ground.

Our knitting and crocheting  serves several purposes.  It gives us who are blessed with a roof over our heads the ability to give back, a way to show our gratitude for what we have.  It gives us the ability to physically warm someone in need, and it gives us the ability to give someone hope for a better tomorrow.  Homemade items made from our hearts tell that cold homeless person, someone cares.  Someone cares about you and that's pretty special.

Keep your yarn close folks, the need is great.

  • ADD A NOTE WITH YOUR NAME AND EMAIL TO YOUR DONATION

  1. So pretty Diana Beautiful colors in your cloths. Looks like spring to me. The hat and scarf set is such a beautiful true red. Someone will love these colors. Warms the heart.
Daylight saving time starts today, We are looking at a possible 42 degrees. Sun will be bright. Hopefully melt some of the 24 inches of snow on the ground. BIrds are singing. Life is good. Things are looking up., Prayers for the Homeless.

  2. Very nice donation Diana! The red is so cheerful, a nice set for someone.
It is in the 30's today, 40's on Monday and then more snow for Weds. Winter doesn't want to stop in MI. At least we will get rid of some of the snow before the next storm.
