**Thinking about making a scarf? Here's the tab for scarves with all the necessary information you need to know about sizes, colors, and fibers. Click HERE. Notice all the tabs across the top of the blog?
Please remember what fibers to avoid folks as you knit and crochet your special donations. The only thing cotton fiber should be used for is the cotton washcloths. Cotton isn't warm enough or durable enough for a hat, scarf and other items. Wool and suede should also be avoided. Washable wool however is wonderful! Acrylic of course works for everything. If you have questions about something, please check with me by using the contact form here on the blog, leaving a comment here on the blog, or emailing me at sandycrochet@gmail.com.
**Stay tuned folks for donations from: Sandy R, SSeger, Patricia C, Karen J, and Barbara F**
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.
SALLY FROM NEW JERSEY IS THAT YOU? Have never refered to you as Sally B,although i write with you almost every day. Feel like you are a friend even though I dont know a thing about you except that you are also a friend of the homelss in OHio. This is truly a beautiful donation. Thank you for being my friend and theirs too. This will be so appreciated by the bridge people as you know, and also by anyone else who may receive this gift. GOOD JOB.
ReplyDeleteNice donation Sally! Glad you are a long time supporter of this great group. I like the stripped mittens.
ReplyDeleteVery nice hats and mittens. Thank you for your continued support of Ohio's homeless.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the nice comments and for cheering me on! Yes Marj.....it is me.....Sally from NJ. Funny thing I have been trying to recruit from among my knitting friends and with my next donation another Sally from NJ will be participating. Only she will be Sally L. and I am Sally B.
ReplyDeleteWell we have a regular heat wave going on here. It is 24 degrees! Only on Thursday we are supposed to get another 9 inches of snow! I truly think we are all sick and tired of the white stuff and snow has become the new "4 letter word". UGH!!! Stay warm my friends and keep your hooks and needles flying!
