A little different type of humor perhaps, but this still made me chuckle when I saw it awhile back on Facebook. However, I do share needles, lol. Just recently taught someone to knit and um, shared my needles. When you're learning you sometimes need to try different types of needles to see what feels right in your hand.
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.
I often share my needles and therefore dont always get them back. Easy to walk out the door item.:+)
ReplyDeleteWinter in Minnesota today. Weather is 30 degrees and falling. Snow is falling too,and will accumulate through the day. Schools closed or late, and roads slushy and icy depending on where you are. Nice to have a warm house with a working furnace and a fridge full of food. Prayers for all the homeless. God bless them as they struggle through another winter.
Love your humorous badge Sandy! I shared my needles this summer and taught an 11 year old girl to knit. She is madly knitting ruffle scarves to raise money for her church! I am so proud of her!
ReplyDeleteIt is chilly this morning here in NJ. However it is supposed to almost get to 50 degrees today. A regular heat wave!
Keep your hooks and needles flying Ladies!
Had to comment Sally. Good for you. We taught a little girl to crochet at my club this fall and she too is working for donations for the church. There are definitely alot of good kids out there. :+)
ReplyDeleteJealous of the weather in your part of the country. Enjoy while you can.
Yes Marj......many good kids out there. Too bad you only hear about the not so good ones!
ReplyDeleteIt seems NJ is being spared the weather right now......just you wait!! I will enjoy today! My grandson will be coming today so we will be able to play outside!
I don't mind someone using my hooks in my presence but I don't lend them out. I will GIVE them if I have extra in that size, but I don't lend them. If it's given then there's no problem with forgetting to return and causing hard feelings.
