Brick Yard Afghan Design

Here I am again, playing with more squares.  As you can see, this is another design with lots of different sizes involved.  Think the little gold in the center is about 4.5 inches, and you also note some aren't squares but rectangles.  I am working my way through lots of both old and new squares.

Starred at this one for quite awhile to come up with a name, it made me think of bricks?  We did one some time back called red brick..much more red then above, so I'm thinking maybe Brick Yard?  Open to suggestions and idea's here folks.  Golds, tans, greys all in the variegated squares.

 **Still have plenty of squares on hand, so please hold mailing squares until they are called for as a month's focus**


 May's focus will be hats.  Hats are needed for Men, Women, and children; not toddlers and infants.  PLEASE tag ALL hats with size.  When you tag your hats you do not need to be fancy, use string, yarn, or a safety pin when attaching your tag to your hat.  Please check hat tab for help with sizing, information needed, as well as what to avoid, thank you.

    Like the colors in this one. Dont know what I would call it. Brick yard as good as any I guess :+) should be pretty when finished. What colors are you using to edge it? Have fun. Guess I would lean towards darker tones to pull it together.

    Those are all the colors of a sunset we saw on Pensacola Beach. Maybe "Sunset Beach?"

    I just LOVE this one! These are all my favorite colors! Brick Yard is good to me. Not over the top but then I don't have any other suggestions. If you should find this one missing........ don't come looking at my house! LOL!

    Thanks all for the visits and kind words. I'm not sure what color I want to join with, either rust or gold is what I'm currently learning towards; depends what I find in my stash.

    Sunset...hum, seems to muted ?? Location might be it, but I think of brighter colors for sunsets? Weight in though folks, it's fun putting the right name with our ghans.

    I love these colors also. For some reason it reminds me of an old brick house from the old days. You are the creator, (and a good one at that!) so I am sure you will come up with something.

    It reminds me too of an old brick house from the old neighborhood where I grew up. Beautiful colors!
