Donating Slippers warm Cold Feet
Thank you Tristi for this awesome donation of fabulous slippers! Look how many colors and sizes folks. This are awesome. 19 People will know have warmer feet! I can't tell you how happy Homeless Families were the last time I took a whole bag of slippers...they are always so well received. I particularly love that you made with them double yarn...the 2 strands of yarn together really is a huge plus in making slippers. They're thicker, warmer, and very durable. Awesome work once again Tristi, keep up the good work.

TRISTI, YOU HAVE BEEN A BUSY WOMAN! This is a fantastic donation. So many sizes and colors. So many warm feet. GOOD JOB.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I agree, you have been busy.
ReplyDeleteSandy--Is that an infinity scarf? I've been wearing one lately and really like it because it stays nice and warm around my neck. Do you know if the folks who get our donations have a preference for them vs. regular scarves?
Thanks Marj and Sue for your visits and supportive comments. These slippers are really awesome, and yes it's a circle scarf. I don't know which they prefer so getting both is best. Probably more straight regular scarves because they can be tied around face. I think the mobius/circle/infinity scarves probably aren't good for men, but getting donations of both styles serves many people.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great donation of slippers Tristi! Lots of warm feet. Love all the different colors that you used.
ReplyDeleteTristi, what a fantastic donation. Thanks for your help.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so sweet :-) Thanks for all the compliments!
ReplyDeleteGRRREAT donation Tristi! Love all the color and the coziness of your wonderful slippers! Keep your hook flying!
ReplyDeleteA great donation. I too like mobius scarves finding them greater neck warmers than straight scarves. But straight scarves have their uses! I still cross mine over my chest as I was taught as a child. Can'r ear them dangling down the front of my coat.
