*Please remember to keep your donations free of pet hair. Lint rollers work fairly well to remove small amounts, but those who's furry friends like to lay on their hand crafted items should launder their donations before mailing them. It really delays things and makes my allergies flair when I have to launder donations before being able to distribute them.*

I am hoping to try to figure out how to loom. Is ir hard to learn and who taught you? Did you take a class? Hope to see you here lots and keep your loom flying!
ReplyDeleteSally, Those look like Knifty Knitter loomed hats, (of course, there are "off brands" of the looms, I know Hobby Lobby has a set of 4 SUPER BRIGHT colored ones) if they are, it is VERY EASY to do. There are many online videos and tutorials out there. You can even make slippers with the smallest loom of the set :-) I have made many of both slippers and hats, I just think my crocheting is faster than I can loom. HTH
ReplyDeleteSally did you do spool knitting as a kid? Back in the day we had wooden spools and you could pound 4 nails into the wooden spool and using a diaper pen.......I know showing my age, again. lol Any with looping old loops over new loops on the nails you're actually knitting. The looms are the same.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, glad to be here and able to help out, all that I can. Yes, these are loomed knitted. It is much easier to me than needle knitting. I actually taught myself, there is a kit that you buy and has all of the instructions.
