Awesome hats and scarves from our friend Diana K from Georgia. Now I thought it was interesting that these red, peach colored, melon colored sets were crocheted and donated by someone living in The Peach Tree State. Don't the pretty colors make you think of pretty peaches! Many thanks Diana K. for your on going support for Ohio's homeless, please keep up the good work.
We're about half way through February, which as you know focuses on
feet. Both slippers and socks are the focus for February. The focus
for next month, for those who like to know ahead; will be afghans, and
rain poncho's. March can still be quite cold, but in preparation for
April and rain thought we'd jump ahead a bit and make rain poncho's a
focus. The afghans are giving out with families transition from shelter
living to permanent housing. Afghans keep them warm, congratulate them
on the accomplishment of moving out of the shelter living, and wish
them luck for the future.
