I assembled this afghan, Box of Crayons with squares from several people (many from Sue V) ivory yarn donated by Bunny (Lynda G).  A few of the shades aren't exact, and some needed rows added to fit; but I was pleased with how it came together.  I'm sorry for all the recent tragedies and am glad we here at Bridge and Beyond were able to come together to donate this afghan to Hands, Hearts, and Hugs-Crocheting for a Cause for one of the grieving families in Webster/Rochester New York.
**additional information can be found on my personal blog, Sandy's Space**
***speaking of squares, remember squares knitted or crocheted for Bridge and Beyond need to be 8 inches by 8 inches, made with acrylic or washable wool.  Avoid the use of white, off-white and beige's, and the use of novelty yarns.  Always check the working calendar to know when to mail your squares.  AND, please help me and the storage situation by only mailing them during the requested time.  2013 working calendar has not yet been selected; but January's focus is Slippers.  Slippers for MEN, Women, and Children in shelters give them the ability to warm their feet, and to have something to put on while socks dry.***

**I will continue to add numbers to the
years totals after Dec 31st, so all donations received by years end will
be counted in the year they are received.  Since each donation is a
day, they will be some over flow into January.  Thus year end numbers
won't be finalized until then.*
All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated, and all donations keep someone warm. We help, one stitch at a time. YOU truly DO make a difference. THANK YOU!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?
I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.
Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
