Large warm soft Scarves for Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Trudy S from Maryland for this thoughtful donation and your on going support. 4 Fabulously warm, soft scarves. I love that they're big enough to really wrap up in. And a knit hat to match the coral colored scarf. Very nice indeed. Please keep up the good work.

Some little fun facts for you all. Upper Marlboro (previously named Upper Marlborough) a port town was named after John Churchill The 1st Duke of Marlborough, an ancestor of William Churchill! Did you know Upper Marlboro played a very important part during The War of 1812? There's lots to see and explore there in this historic town (founded in 1695). Every year on Mother's Day the streets are closed to celebrate The Upper Marlborough/Marlboro Festival. Now those who know me, know I like a bit of history. Soooooooo, since our friend and supporter Trudy hails from Upper Marlboro, I thought I'd through out these facts for you. Now...back to your yarn folks, keep those hands busy.

**With the exception of squares folks, remember we collect all items all year long. Lots of information regarding sizes, colors and styles can be found in all the tabs across the top of the blog. Remember items should be as solid as possible for warmth. Open lacy items don't provide as much warmth and generally don't hold up as well in terms of durability. If you can poke your fingers through the stitches, it's probably too lacy.**
