The pretty bright cheery striped crocheted afghan was made by Rebeccah. You might remember her fabulous donation not too long ago. Click here to see it. Look at all colors. Thank you Rebeccah for your on going support.
Rebeccah's mother, Cindy put this darling patch blanket together. Click to enlarge the picture. I'm not sure if she re-purposed sweaters to make this, but it looks like a good possibility. I love the color combination here and know whomever receives this is going to be warm and happy.
This ghan of many colors makes me think of a quilt, log cabin I think it what this style square when quilted is called. Another beautiful bright cheery crocheted afghan to warm those in need at Faith Mission. Cindy and her daughter Rebeccah are from Ohio. What a marvelous mother daughter team.
And two fabulous scarves also made by this dynamic duo. Thank you ladies!

ReplyDeleteYou know how weird things can be here on net, who knows what happened Foxeni, thanks for coming back and re-adding. I like the log cabin too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thing to do!
ReplyDeleteI saw your request on Facebook and I hope I'm at the right place!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to make a log cabin afghan. Maybe it's time? :-) I have several patterns... Also, makes me wish I could quilt! LOL
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the list of things to make Sandie. I've done a few that come close to the traditional style of log cabin; but not completely. I've quilted in the past; though it's been awhile and with that I tended to do my own thing. One of these days perhaps I'll again bring out the fabric...but for now, I've got sooooooo much yarn and I believe I prefer working with yarn.
