Hookers Helping the Homeless....Awesome

crocheted items for homelessRoseMarie has helped us again with her crochet hook. Hats, scarves, leg warmers, and squares. And look to the far left in the picture, she sent along dodads. I'm sure there's a real name for them, but I don't know what it is. Dodads are cool decorative things that can be added to garments like hats and scarves. She crocheted cute little flower like decorative items in several colors. I'll use these RoseMarie, heck might even add a couple to a ghan or something. Keep checking in to see what becomes of them.

    Thanks for the reminder to read (reread) the "How you can help" section. Glad to know you have the ability to stockpile. Now I can keep knitting hats and mittens, which are my favorite!

    Sandy, Wanted to let you know that I'm not ignoring your efforts. I found that the Kansas City Rescue Mission here in Missouri also needs hats and scarves, so I mailed all that I made this winter to them. They're only 100 miles from "Harvest Hill Farm" so it seemed like the thing to do. Paula

    Thanks for your note Paula, sorry to lose your efforts for our cause; but glad to know you're still helping those in needs. Hope your efforts help them stay warm. Homelessness is bad, regardless of where it is where cold winter weather is an issue certainly. Hope you'll keep us on your list for the future.
