Knitting Aids the Homeless

Thank you thank you Joyce B.  This post concludes the very generous donation Joyce delivered to when she was here in town to support her family's participation in the Marathon.  If you're reading this blog for the first time, you may not be aware I've recently decided to break up large donations to have fewer items in each picture, fewer pictures per post so you all can better see the wonderful donations, AND in order to aid having a post more regularly (daily being the goal).  Many thanks Joyce.
Wonderful hats, scarves, and a cowl in the upper left of this picture.  Hats of many sizes and colors.  AND what a wonderful plus that you tagged all your hats with size!  Doing so speeds up the process for me in separating donations into the right bag for kids or adults, men or women etc.  Additionally, it speeds up time for the many big hearted volunteers to who help staff the various shelters.  The quicker items leave my house and get to the volunteers, the quicker they're in the hands of the homeless and others in need.

Thank you Joyce, look forward to seeing you here often on Bridge and Beyond.  Please keep up the good work.

Knitting and Crocheting and Donating for the Homeless

Lovely warm knitted slippers, and wrists warmers and crocheted mittens from our friend Joyce B.  A few posts back you saw another part of her recent donation that she dropped off for me while in town to support to her family involved in The Marathon.  What a wonderful and thoughtful donation of goodies for Ohio's homeless and others in need.  Many thanks Joyce for all your hard work.  Extra thanks for tagging your slippers etc with size for us.  I hope you and your family enjoyed your time here in town.
You can see, Joyce has truly been busy.  Here's more!  Lovely cotton washcloths, knitted in many colors and styles.  Awesome and always so very much appreciated.

New Helping Hands for Ohio's Homeless

Please say hello and welcome to our newest pair of helping hands, Joyce B.  Joyce is a fellow Ohioan who graciously dropped off donations while she was in town to support several family members participating in The Columbus Marathon.  Thrilled to have you join us Joyce.  Joyce has been busy both knitting and crocheting.  She's donated some headbands, and scarves, and
this lovely ripple afghan.  Everyone loves a ripple afghan.  What awesome colors, this color combination can be nicely used with either men or women.

Keep up the good work Joyce, hope to see you here often.  Perhaps next time you're in town we'll be able to meet up.  I always love meeting the good folks who support Bridge and Beyond so lovingly.

**Remember to check back in for more pictures of Joyce's generous donation.  If you're reading this blog for the first time you may not know, I recently decided to put fewer items in each picture.......want you to be able to better see these lovely donations, and wanting to be sure we can have a post daily, dividing some of the larger donations with multiple pictures seems a good way to help ensure that.  Having posts daily aids our placement with regard to SEO, which is an important factor to attract more helping hands.......it makes us easier to find when someone is searching the net**

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
