Many Hats for Ohio's Homeless

More cute, stretchy knitted hats from our friends down in Florida.  Barbie T and her friends in the Gesher Chapter.  Such a nice way to spend time in friendship together, knitting to make others warm.  Got a nice burst of sunshine too ladies when I opened your box, lol.  Much appreciated.  If only I could keep it going and going and going.

The ribbed hats like this are so versatile for sizing due to their stretch.  These are for kids and teens...can you see a bunch of smiling faces when they put these on!  I know I can.

Keep up the good work ladies.

From the Sunny Shore of Florida

Barbie T and her friend Gesher H have been knitting up a storm.  Look at the hats.  33 hats, all knitted with the stretchy ribbing that's so great for fitting lots of heads.  They look small when you look at them, but they are quite stretchy and so have a good range of heads they'll fit.  Stella hasn't modeled for us in very long time; and she's quite put out about it too. Stella and I have the same sized heads so most of these hats will fit kids and teens, and perhaps adult women like me with a small head.  She's also included 2 warm scarves.

Love the variety of colors in the hats too, click to enlarge to see them all.  Thank you Barbara and friends for your support, keep up the good work.

Tipping my Hat

Wave hello to our newest pairs of helping hands from Florida. Barbie T and Gesher H and many others in a local chapter gather together and knit and crochet for the benefit of others. It's not necessarily the same group of ladies each time or the same number; but many pairs of helping hands have joined together to make this donation of 56 happen. Many sizes, colors, and styles. Some are knit and some are crocheted. 2 Full boxes of hats to warm the heads of those in need here in Central Ohio.
We're thrilled to have you ladies join us and appreciate the extra helping hands. Hope to see you all here often on Bridge and Beyond. The weather here in Central Ohio has already begun to get uncomfortable. We're soon to have frost, as it got down to 46 degrees last night. That can be pretty cold when you're living out in the elements or in a temporary shelter that may not have good heat etc. Hats are always a huge help and are needed by Men, Women, and Children.

Thank you Ladies in Boyton Beach Florida!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
