Crocheted Afghans for Ohio's Homeless

Looks at this fun, cheery big granny square afghan!  Such interesting color combinations.  Too many colors to count.  LOVE it.  This afghan was donated by Marsha M.  This will work for male or female, adult or teen.  As you probably know, our afghans are donated to Homeless Families Foundation with a letter of congratulations.  There are part of a Welcome Home Pack when families transition from shelter living to a permanent housing situation.  It's a way of saying, Good Luck to you in the future, Congrats on getting into a home; as well as something to keep warm under.
I LOVE LOVE this granny square afghan because I truly love color.  You really need to click the picture to see the details in the colors.  It's far more than just red or reddish orange which is what you see at first glance.  As mentioned above, our afghans are part of a welcome pack and each is put in a see through large plastic bag with a handle and come with washing instructions to help families keep their afghans for years.
Don't stop........seriously, you can see Marsha didn't.  She's been super busy with her crochet hook.  Here's yet another awesome colorful granny square afghan.  Some women or teen girl will be thrilled to get this.  Referring to our pack with the letter and afghan...been awhile since I've mentioned how an afghan can be a family heirloom.  I personally still have one my great grandmother made...in need of repair, but I still have it these many years later.  So, I like to include that brief note along with the laundry instructions so folks can enjoy their specially made afghans for years to come.  Don't blink...keep scrolling.  Marsha's made yet another fun colorful afghan.  This one is not a large granny square, but a traditional side to side style.  Again, the colors are suitable for males or females.

Marsha has been truly busy.  But, stay tuned...........there's more....but, as you know I limited the number of pictures in a post for loading time of blog, and spreading out blog posts which aids the blog placement with search engines.  Sooooooooooo do keep checking back.

Thank you Marsha, look our afghan goal is shrinking!  25 to hit last years mark  How close will we get?

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
