An Afghan in the Works Needs a Name

The above afghan is in the works.  It was named Pastel Garden (see below in it's original designed stage).  I think it needs a new name, as it no longer looks pastel to me.  Tristi K started working on this for us,  and had the vision of bordering and joining in the dark green.  I like it, it pops...but needs a new name.  I've got it laid out and have picked up where she left off.  My thoughts for names as I stare as it are: Green Garden, Green Valley, and or Green Pastures.  What do you all think?  I don't want to re-use a name we've used before, so checked the files of those completed, as well as those waiting in the wings.  I'm sorta leaning Green Valley...as I see flowers in fields of green?

  1. I like the name Green Valley. I would try to see if the flower that looks raised on my right, 4th one down would look good in the middle. Hope to see the finished afghan soon.

    1. I like the suggestion of that flower in the middle. Currently 30 squares, 5 rows by 6 so there really isn't a middle, but...I played with squares, took some away that I thought added less and got the flower in the middle. Thanks Sue! Stay tuned in a day or so for an updated post and picture.

  2. Thanks for letting me know you are putting the flower in the middle. I don't know anything about putting squares together, but just thought since there was only 1 of the flower squares, it might look nice in the middle.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
