Don't Try This at Home

Every now and then you see examples of things people posts as the ugliest thing to do with yarn, or what not to do with yarn..........the title under this was pajamas.  Not making a statement about the guys here, this was on a crochet site.  I can't even imagine dressing a little wee one in p.j.'s like this, lol

Don't try this at home, PLEASE use your yarn wisely!  Though they are colorful....seriously this is the worst thing I've think I've ever seen as an example of what not to do with yarn, your time...

What say you?

  1. WHAT WAS THAT OLD SAYING "IF YOU CANT SAY SOMETHING NICE DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL?"
It was a beautiful sunny day here today. Got work done in the yard, and am really starting to see a beauitfull improvement there. The rain we have gotten is helping everything although I have really had enough. It seems like everytime we get a beautiful day like this it is followed by a big long rain;we are to get rain off and on for the rest of the week.:+) GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS. marj in minnesota

    1. OH my gosh is right Betty. I wasn't sure it was real the first time I saw it, thought maybe someone had done some really fancy photoshop something, but then when I saw it was actually on a real crochet site, I was dumbfounded.

  5. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. They are pajamas so no one will see them..unless they are those people who goes out in their pjs..Different fashion statement for sure :).

  6. SORRY SANDY didnt mean you I meant me. I couldnt think of anything nice to say and so I figured I better not say anything at all. It reminds me of a sweater I made my husband one time.It was horrible and I thought he knew it. Then I came home from work one day and found out he had worn it out of the house and nearly died of embarrasment. Got rid of it quickly. These PJs are really horrible, and I cant think of any man I know that would be caught dead. But you never know. If my husband thought that awful sweater was ok, maybe these guys think they look cute too.One mans treasure.........marj in minnesota

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
