Crocheted Warmth for Homeless in Need

Thank you Mary H for this thoughtful and warm donation.  Mary's crocheted and donated scarves and an afghan, granny style afghan of many colors.  The scarves are nice and big, both in width and length so folks can really wrap up and stay warm.  Particularly fond of your more solid dark colors.  These are always requested first by the men folk.
I wondered how many different colors were used in this afghan, and actually started to count, lol...then stopped, because as you can see............pick a color.........any color.  This ghan is nice and solid, tight stitches, so even with being granny style squares, it's not particularly lacy.  Great for added warmth.

Please keep up the good work Mary.

**remember folks larger donations are divided up to reduce the number of pictures per post and give the blog better coverage.**

Have you noticed any changes on the blog???
Please stay tuned folks for totals.  All items received prior to the end of 2014 will be tallied in that year, even though the posts will appear in the year 2015.

  2. I agree with Rosemarie, love the colors in the afghan. I am always partial to grannies, and although I have never put one together have made many squares for others to do so. Good way to use up extra yarn in a beautiful way. I also like your blue scarf. You will warm many with your donation..Thank you so much Mary.

  3. A nice warm donation Mary! So many colors in the afghan, and it looks warm.
Only 1 degrees and wind chill of -16 here in MI. More snow to come later today. I heard on the news, a group from a shelter is going around and trying to get the homeless into shelters for tonight.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
