Bridge and Beyond serves people here in Central Ohio, primarily Franklin County; but the problem of cold, hungry homeless people in need is one that reaches every state.  Perhaps it's less cold in some areas, perhaps it's easier to live on the street in more temperate climates; but still it's an issue.

Our voices need to be heard.

Saw this on Facebook and wanted to share.  Perhaps we have a duty folks to write letters, sign petitions, make phone calls to let our voices be heard that arresting kind caring people, like this 90 year old man and minsters who are in fact doing good is WRONG! Breaking the law because you're feeding hungry people in need means the law needs to be changed.   Is this going on in your city?  Let your voices be heard, talk about these injustices.

It is Veterans Day.Thank you to all the Vets Homeless and otherwise who have kept our country free over all these many years. I come from a family with many veterans, none thankfully that died in the service of their country, but I learned from a small child to honor and respect all who serve and include them in my prayers. Be sure and thank those you see today and everyday .Remember especially those who returned home that are now homeless and without jobs, GOD BLESS OUR SEVICEMEN AND GOD BLESS THE HOMELESS

  4. Thank you for posting the news. That is awful that the homeless can not be feed and people who are feeding them get arrested. Don't think Fort Lauderdale needs the tourist money, they are going to make money fining 90 year olds. (Off my soap box now.) God bless those who got arrested. God bless the Veterans!

  5. The video was removed by the user it said before I could see it. Nonetheless it is a shame that they are arresting both the homeless and those trying to help them. Instead of that they should take them to places that can help the homeless. Goes to show how selfish and self absorbed our society is now. How sad.

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
