Helping Hands from Illinois Help Ohio's Homeless

Thank you Karen J from Illinois for this awesome donation of crocheted hats and scarves.  Look at the nice variety both in color and in size of Karen's hats!  And special thanks for taking time to tag them with size.  I am asking everyone to do that, please and thanks.  It saves enormous time both at my end and again the time of the volunteers at the various shelters.

.  Keep up the good work, Karen.

**Folks, please take time to read the item specific tabs across the top of the blog; even for those of you who've been contributors here before.  Each tab has necessary information regarding size, colors, and fibers needed for items; as well as what to avoid.  There are also some patterns you might like to use.  If you have a favorite pattern, please sing out, I'm always adding new things.**

  1. THANK YOU KAREN! what a nice selection of hats and scarves. Glad to see the ones specially for the men. Much needed as this long hard winter winds down. Still many days of cold ahead before we reach the summer nights, and even then the evenings are cool enough to need something warm on your head if you are out in the elements. Will be much appreciated I am sure, Thank you for your caring heart. GOOD JOB.

Thanks so much for using your time talent and resources to help the homeless and working poor! Your kindness will not be forgotten! Keep your hook flying!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
