Ohio's Homeless Appreciate Sue in Michigan

Found another little bit of humor for us knitters and crocheters.  Thought you all would enjoy this.

Also wanted to say Sue S from Michigan one of 4 winners (3 of the 4 have checked in), deadline to check is midnight tonight.

Sue's been knitting and donating to our cause, homeless in Ohio for a couple of years.  She's gone through a move and continued to support us with her lovely creations.  In addition to her donations of knitted warmth, she participates frequently here on the blog by reading, commenting and cheering on our fellow helpers.  We really appreciate all your efforts Sue, and are so glad you found us.

  1. Thank you Sandy for the lovely yarn you sent. I do enjoy being a part of this group. I love to see the pictures of each & every item that is donated. I live in Michigan, not Minn.

  4. O.K. I am confused. Sue did you live in NJ? And have since moved to Mich? In any case I am so glad you are with us at Bridge and Beyond. You have been such a faithful donater and that speaks volumns as to where your heart is. And your faithful comments are always very appreciated. It is so nice to have people cheering us on as that always makes me want to knit that much FASTER!

Thanks for all you do Sue. You are appreciated I am sure. I had someone ask me today what I plan to do with the spare time I spend here. Do people really stop donating in the summer? Not in this group I am sure. Too much work to do. See you all here as spring goes on. Thanks again Sue :+))

  8. Marj, it does slow down donation wise, but...I surge forward and encourage everyone to do the same, that way we'll have supplies on hand for all the shelters the moment the weather gets ugly again. I figure we still have another good month of need, we had frost again this morning and most nights are just barely above freezing.

Sally...I need you to remind me, I got myself so confused the other day about something...think I sounded like a blithering idiot.

  9. Wow what a great thing you are doing, well done to all. A lot of people talk about how terrible the homeless problem is but not many get off their bums and do anything about it. So helpful and kind hearted, really impressed and if I was in the US I would help you.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
