Donations from Louisiana aid Ohio's Homeless

Thank you, Janis F from Louisiana for this thoughtful donation.  Janis has been very busy indeed.  Take a look folks.  A darling fleece baby blanket with a cute stitched edge, crocheted hats and scarves, socks, personal care items, and she's included a cute little outfit, mitts for the wee ones, and a camo coat and shoes!  WOW!!  So much love and warmth here in this much appreciated donation.

Please keep up the good work Janis.

*Please remember to keep your donations free of pet hair.   Lint rollers work fairly well to remove small amounts, but those who's furry friends like to lay on their hand crafted items should launder their donations before mailing them.  It really delays things and makes my allergies flair when I have to launder donations before being able to distribute them.*

2013 Donation Totals:
Hats:  243+2=245
Scarves: 110+4=114
Socks:98+4=102
Afghans: 4
Slippers: 77
Rain Ponchos:2
Mittens: 15+4=19
Cotton Wash Clothes: 134
Shawls, Sweaters, Vests, Poncho's: 4
Misc. Items: include personal care, headbands, handwarmers, cowls/gators and all meal prep related items, etc aren't tabulated

**Blogger has been acting up, as I was editing the tab for mittens it wouldn't save the page, seems we've lost everything that was there, sorry folks.  I'll be trying to find the page, and or locating those patterns again.  In the meantime just know mittens should be made of washable fibers, be warm, avoid white, off-white, beige etc.  AND they should all be tagged with size. **

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated. The Power of One is awesome, and when we work together The Power of One becomes The Power of Many.

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
