Falling Leaves Design

I'm calling this afghan design, Falling Leaves. My hope is to have enough green or orange to edge and join...or at least that's my thoughts as this stage of the game.

I still have plenty of squares to use to design more afghans, but for now those to date fill my shelf space. I will at a later time design again, but need to start concentrating on putting some of these together. Stay tuned.

Remember, back a few posts I've mentioned a major design fest here in my living room. You should be seeing lots of your squares folks here, and in previous posts, as well as in upcoming posts. Did you miss them? Scroll back and see if you can identify some of yours. PLEASE PLEASE make a point to read the change in policy regarding knitting/crocheting and donating squares. Click HERE, or refer to the squares tab on the top of the blog.

  1. Very cute! What a nice idea. Maybe another way to use up some of those remnants too small for use in a larger project. Great article and you're right its Fab that so many people are now realiing the power of blogs.my only gripe however is that a lot of these companies will subsequently just expect free coverage / advertising from us.

  3. I love your ideas and charitable website!!

I have recently initiated my own campaign to help the homeless in San Diego County of California.

My Goal is to develop personal healthcare kits that will help maintain the welfare and health of the homeless community. I will distribute my kits to them by December 25, 2012 as my Christmas gift to them. :)

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
