Mittens Donated from the Keystone State

Thank you Jodi V from Pennsylvania for your great crocheted mittens. These are so nicely made, nice and thick and warm. Sorry folks for quality of this photo. Opened this donation right before leaving town and was quickly trying to get it posted in que...as you know all posts are scheduled. The mittens are so nicely made and will be just the ticket to warm cold hands.

Keep up the good work Jodi, hope to see you here often on Bridge and Beyond.

*While unrelated to helping the homeless, knitting and or crocheting; I want to take a minute to ask you all to visit and participate in my Flat Stanley Blog. It's brand new, the blog that is; certainly not the idea. Warm weather is coming, kids will be out of school and finding quality things to do to fill that time can be a challenge. You are all creative and caring people, so thought you might enjoy spending time with us, making your own Flat Stanley, or request one from me. I'll be sharing adventures with ideas of ways to make every opportunity a quality learning fun time; as well as sharing those of my readers. Let's get the kids involved, your kids, your grandchildren, your neices and nephews, those you baby sit for, and or the kiddos in the neighborhoods. Please swing by for a visit, leave a comment etc. CLICK HERE.*

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated, and all donations keep someone warm. We help, one stitch at a time. YOU truly DO make a difference. THANK YOU!

  1. Nice. I love this style, is it hard?

  2. No Sherry, it's back stitch single crochets. I've made a pair of these and they are quite warm. Pattern is listed in our Mitten Tab area. I just thought they took awhile, from memory.

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
