Donations for Toes and Fingers

Mittens and gloves keep fingers and hands warm and socks keep feet warm and dry. Taking care of the tips of our extremities here. Thanks so much Yvonne for this wonderful donation, we certainly appreciate it. The personal care items are also great.

Folks these mittens are so nicely made, soft and warm. Yvonne included a note for us (you know how I'm always wondering what pattern someone used), she used Bev's "The Mitts" pattern and the bright pink wrist warmers/fingerless gloves (I really never know what to call them or what's more accurate) are from a pattern on Ravelry called "Easy Fingerless Mitts" by Roxanne R. Richardson. Thanks Yvonne for including that info, I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates it.

  1. I think warm hands and feet go further to keep people warm than sometimes even a coat. If my feet are cold, I can. NOT. get. warm! Great donation and thanks for including the pattern info!

  2. I tend to use "fingerless gloves" if the item has a thumb hole and "wrist warmers" if it does not. Not sure if that's what other people use but that's me. :)

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
